Project Description
Local springs and dirty ponds are the source of water for mothers in Busoni. They carry their infants on their backs while climbing rocky terrain to fetch water — water that is full of contaminants. Parents want to provide the best for their families and are eager to serve on water committees when new wells are constructed. Your gift of a well gives an entire community a source of safe, clean water for a lifetime.
Fund the Remaining Need
Solar-powered, submersible pump system technology is preferred over the traditional single-hand pump. These larger, more sophisticated systems deliver much higher yields, serve double or triple the number of people, and are easier to maintain. Pump systems provide connected water storage tanks and taps where possible. Users also adopt these pumps more readily because they are more modern and efficient, and people feel more dignified using a tap.
Amazi Water has a team dedicated to maintenance and repairs and keeps wells in working order with a remarkable average of 95% uptime.
Amazi Water is about more than “just” installing wells — the ministry is committed to spiritual and physical transformation. We employ and train local team members whose expertise rapidly develops.
