Pump it Up! Fundraising with a Purpose
Just like modern well systems need pumps to maximize their effectiveness, Amazi Water needs the support of fundraisers to connect with their friends to raise money for well projects. For $11 per person served, you can provide safe, clean water and access to the Gospel by providing a well for a community. When you fund a well, 100% of your gift goes to water projects in Burundi, where people urgently need access to safe water.

You can lead a social media fundraising campaign to help fund a well in Burundi. Every $11 raised will provide a lifetime of water for one person. The process is as easy as 1,2,3.

“Thank You” From a Mom of Four
Your support is transforming lives like that of Aline. Aline is a mother of four children from Mugere, in Ruziba, and farms to provide for her family. Her community is located near the Mugere River, which served as the primary water source for more than 300 families — 1,800 people — before Amazi Water placed a well there. Due to contamination, the community members suffered from parasites, skin diseases, and cholera. Aline told one of our staff members,“With this well in our community, we appreciate the improvement of health. You can see the faces of the people – they are clean! We are able to get water for drinking, cooking, washing our bodies, and doing laundry. There are no other organizations working towards clean water for our community. For us, Amazi Water is an answer to our prayers.”
